Experience Summary
Graduating from Alabama with a BS in Finance, I have a strong grasp of math concepts. I finished with a 3.83 and excelled in history, math, computer, economics, and business classes.
After graduation, I moved to China to work with college students in the non-profit sector and took language classes while there for two years.
Teaching Style
My teaching style centers around the idea that every kid learns differently. Some understand pictures better some words.
Either way someone learns, they stay focused through fun, enthusiastic teaching. Ironically I believe its not always a childs intelligence level that holds them back, its often more the attention the receive from teachers and the style that they filter through.
With that in mind, I believe in empowering students to believe in themselves and get excited to achieve goals they never have before. I'm passionate about helping people become who they're made to be and that defines my style best.
