Have worked with elementary age children and have tutored/mentored in the workplace. With many years of work experience with employees of varying skill levels, I understand what it takes to be a valued contributor and understand that students learn in very different ways. Creating a relationship with information that is meaningful to the student is the best way to help them learn a concept or process. Most learning focuses on information assimilation while I focus on applying the concept or process to a real work situation that has meaning to the student.

I did a great deal of tutoring while attending Rutgers and William Paterson. I received my NJ teaching certification and taught Physics, Biology, Astronomy at Belville HS in NJ, taught Chemistry, Biology and Seventh Grade Science at Blair Academy in NJ. Taught Trigonometry, Geometry at Wayne Hills High School in Wayne NJ. Instructed clases in Differential Equations at William Paterson University, as well as a first year Statistics course. I have been tutoring since I was 13 years old. Parents of my peers always approached me to teach their son or daughter. After I completed high school with a 4.0 GPA I was hired at a professional tutoring school. There I worked for nearly 10 years with a loyal student base many of whom I taught the entire time. I taught kids from when they were in elementary school all the way until high school. Some students were ineligible to go to normal school so I was their only teacher for years. In that time I managed to get these students up to 4 years ahead in certain subjects like math and science. I've also taught students that could not even speak english when they came to me and in a short amount of time they were fluent.
