I have taught high school students for five years now. However, I have taught college freshman for a year only. But, I do know what I am doing and I know how to help students. I am patient with everyone so I can communicate better and understand my students problems so, I have always succeeded in helping my students. I am currently a college sophomore at Florida Institute of Technology studying Computer Engineering so I know the problems a high school or school or college student would face in studies. I enjoy helping people, particularly kids. It's a very good feeling to help kids understand so many of the concepts in science, math and computers that tend to stump them. The most important part of teaching is to teach students the principle or concept behind a subject. I do not believe in making students memorize absurdly large lists of facts in order to pass a test. Learning should be more fundamental than that. When a student has been successfully taught something, the student should be able to solve an array of problems with a common theme.
