I worked as a Math Tutor throughout college. Since graduating I have occasionally worked with students in a tutoring center and I have helped my own children and their friends in a home setting. I have helped teachers grade homework and I have helped algebra, geometry, and calculus students complete their homework. I believe that learning Math is really very similar to learning a foreign language. I see my job as helping students to become familiar with the "words" and grammar of math so that they can learn to read, understand, and write the language of numbers.
