For four years I taught in private schools, where I gave instruction at the middle and high school levels in English, French, Hebrew, computer programming, and office applications (spreadsheets, etc). I taught Math and English for one year at a Huntingdon Learning Center (elementary through high school students). Prior to this I taught French and Linguistics courses at the State University of NY at Albany where I earned a degree in each of those fields. Later I became a database administrator. Today I develop web applications in the C# programming language and the Transact SQL query language. I have also given private music lessons over the years to a total of 20 to 30 students. Something I have always enjoyed while tutoring is the moment that the student 'gets it'. In order to properly prepare the student for their future education, you must show them the importance of the process of learning. The idea of the process builds the student's ability to work independently, thus giving them a valuable life lesson.
