I have a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University. I attended Western Illinois University in Macomb, Il to obtain Secondary Teaching Certification in Science. I taught Biology and Chemistry in the Rockford School District #205 at Rockford East High School for 4 years from 2002 - 2006. I've been a special education teacher and held positions in resource and in self-contained rooms. I've taught students with learning problems in reading, math, and writing. I believe the best way to learn is peer-to-peer learning. As an auto-didact I have the study skills necessary to regurgitate information as taught by the current institutional models. This is an uncreative and highly unnatural way to learn. There's a reason no major discovery was made in a classroom -- true innovation, discovery and learning is an organic process.
