I am a student studying Computer Science at UVU. I served a two year LDS mission to northern Germany where I taught others in German. After the two years in Germany I came home and I am now taking German 3050. I love languages, I taught myself a little bit of spanish while in Germany and I plan to learn Portuguese. I am also a drummer, I took lessons for 8 years altogether, starting when I was nine years old. I have played in various bands with friends. I taught personal drum lessons for one year. I think the most important part of instruction is to give the student a framework for learning. I help them solve problems by asking leading questions so that they can develop the intuition for solving problems on their own, of course introducing and explaining basic concepts when necessary.
