Experience Summary
I have always been interested in languages. When I first came to the States in 2002 I was determined to improve my English in order to become a better communicator. I was determined enough to get a bachelor's in English. Thus, I fully comprehend the challenges students face when learning a new language. I have tutored German speaking students over the last four years and have gained a deep understanding of how different people learn differently. I have been able to show my students that learning German is fun!
Teaching Style
Teaching is my talent. I have always enjoyed learning about my students and how they think and learn. Once I find out what type of learner my student is I can help them reach areas they never thought reachable. I also believe that language learning should be fun. Thus, I love to create an atmosphere where one can feel free to laugh but also feel strongly about progressing in one's language skills. I understand that my student and I form a team. Together, we can accomplish great things.
