Experience Summary
I grew up reading the nutritional panel on everything. I was absolutely fascinated how the body used the food that we eat to derive the energy and perform the tasks necessary for life. This interest in the human body led me to pursue a degree in nutrition. I recently graduated Brigham Young University the honored graduate of my college with a BS in Nutritional Science.
Due to the nature of my degree, I have an extensive knowledge in the fields of biology, chemistry, anatomy/physiology, and nutrition. I am not, however, limited to these subjects. I have had approximately four years of tutoring experience for Alpine and Provo School Districts ranging from English, German, Statistics, to Algeba, Biology, and History.
Teaching Style
First and foremost, I love working with and teaching children. For that reason, my future plans are to be a pediatrician. They are so wonderful and nothing is more exciting than watching a child grasp a brand new concept.
I believe that every child, if given the one-on-one attention they deserve, can not only learn but excel in any given subject. I give a 100% in all that I do, and I promise you that your child will receive nothing less. They will be better prepared for their subjects, and as a direct result, they will do better at school.
