I have been tutoring math for the past 2 years, focusing primarily on high school math. I have tutored students taking Georgia's Math 1, 2, and 3 courses (equivalent to Algebra I,II, and III, Geometry, some Trig and some Statistics). I have also assisted students with improving their SAT scores and do SAT tutoring through a private company. I have helped adults prepare to take their GED Math Exam and other college entrance exams. I do enjoy helping students with their problems. I have a technique of visualization. for example, which is the first example I use. I tell the student to think of a tree. in the seconds you think of a tree, you don't think of just the tree. you think of the roots, the trunk, the limbs, the branches, the leaves. then you think of whats going on in the tree, right down to the point of the tree taking in carbon dioxide and giving off oxygen and water.
