Experience Summary
As a Mathematical Sciences major, I was encouraged to development a strong foundation in applied mathematics. In addition, I also minored in Biology, as a science related minor was required for my program. I have learned many writing skills due to many research papers, lab projects, and mathematical proofs. My experience at Armstrong Atlantic State University certainly has prepared me to help students in need of a tutor.
Teaching Style
During college I noticed that every student absorbs information differently. I believe that in order to teach effectively, a tutor must not only understand which way a student learns best, but also provide an appropriate environment in which the student feels comfortable. I enjoy working with children of all ages and it is my goal to ensure that each child receives the best education possible. I believe a child's education is the most important factor in determining their success in life.
