Experience Summary
I stumbled upon the joy of teaching as I helped others learn to dive recreationally in my early 20’s. When I began my real estate career, I worked primarily with first time home buyers, whom I educated constantly. With the housing market collapse my desire to instruct in this manner grew as I segued into the insurance industry, and was given an opportunity to open a branch office and personally train over 50 agents in a one on one capacity over the course of two years. I still currently educate a class of insurance agents every few weeks on the complexity of products available to individuals in the market, and how to sell them, while sharing a few life lessons along the way. I am happy to share my book of individual student evaluations.
Teaching Style
I am a happy, outgoing, energetic, creative, and passionate individual comfortable in any environment, anytime, anyplace, and am able to talk to anyone about virtually anything. Teaching is in my blood; a passion handed down from my educator parents who taught English, History and Economics. While my brother went on to teach Social Studies, I resisted the family path. However, as I grew older, I discovered the great fulfillment gained by watching others learn and grow through non-traditional capacities. While everyone absorbs knowledge at different speeds and in different ways, all students, regardless of subject matter, need specialized attention to truly excel. I relish working with those who wish to discover the best in themselves.
