Coming from a family of teachers, the importance of education has always been stressed to me. The emphasis was placed not only on succeeding academically, but also to gain a true understanding of the subject matter. I hold an Associates of Applied Science in Community Service and Leadership and graduated Magna Cum Laude. I also hold a Bachelors of Science in Family Studies with a concentration on early childhood education and graduated Summa Cum Laude. I have an extensive knowledge of reading, writing and grammar and have always scored well into the 90th percentiles on standardized tests in these areas.
