The majority of my experience lies in classroom settings of 20-35 students. Although, I thoroughly enjoy one-on-one teaching as well. The first step in developing a teaching style for a specific student is to assess their needs and their learning styles. From that, tutoring can be tailored to each students specific needs. I initially got my start as an English tutor for refugees in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area in 2002. I then moved to China where I worked as an English teacher in for eight years returning to the US in 2011. I have taught English at a private school in Ansan, South Korea for 1 year from March 2009 to February 2010. I taught children from ages 5-14. This was a full time job.
