English Teacher with Excellent Experience!

I initially got my start as an English tutor for refugees in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area in 2002. I then moved to China where I worked as an English teacher in for eight years returning to the US in 2011. My experiences ranges from university freshmen English majors up through non-English major PhD students. I have also taught in a community English program in China in which my students ranged from age 12 through 52. While the majority of my experience is in Speaking, Listening, Reading and Writing classes, I have also taught such content courses as debate, newspapers, American history and economics. I have taught English at a private school in Ansan, South Korea for 1 year from March 2009 to February 2010. I taught children from ages 5-14. This was a full time job. I take close consideration of each child’s ability in the language and cater to his or her individual needs.
