Teaching, in general, has always been a passion of mine. I received my BA in Elementary Education in May of 2007. My internship experience was teaching Language Arts in a middle school in Chicago, IL. Upon moving to Fernandina Beach, I became a teacher for Catapult Learning in Jacksonville. During this time, I provided supplemental Reading/Math instruction to students in the first through sixth grades whose test scores were below grade level. I have also provided a six week tutoring service for the FCAT at Yulee Elementary.

A Little Bit About Me...

During my last semester in college, I was one of the founding members of the AD Club, Executive Board Member and acting Secretary. Along with being involved in the club I was also chosen to be the Communications Manager in my Campaigns class. After graduating from college I found that I loved to show and teach others what I knew. I found my way to Jacksonville University where I took the 5 graduate level classes to become certified to teach/become an elementary school teacher. I have been in the progress of taking tests but also substituting around the area to get a feel for teaching.
