I have a great passion for Spanish. I try my best to use it as much as I can in my work and make an effort to use it properly. I learned Spanish while serving an LDS mission in Mexico for two years. I made every second count while I studied and spoke with others. I took it very seriously and still do. Since I have learned Spanish, I have wanted to help others acquire the skill as well. Although gaining fluency in a language takes some time and a lot of effort and studying, one is still able to learn many areas and aspects of the language from a tutor. Some of the most important things I learned was when I talked with others and asked them questions. That is why I wish to teach others and help them understand how amazing it feels to be able to communicate and think in another language.

My family and I moved to the States from Belo Horizonte, Brazil about 6 years ago;however we still fluently speak, read ,and write in Portuguese. Since then, we have had the opportunity to go back a few times, and visit friends and relatives. I did not know any English before I moved here, it was difficult to learn a new language, but I did it. I decided to challenge myself and take college courses in high school, now I am currently attending college, and when people find out I am brazilian they frequently comment on my "lost" accent.
