Experience Summary
Graduating from BYU-Idaho, I've learned that a quality education is of the utmost importance, not only for college-age students, but starting from infancy. I've earned my BS in Health Science, enabling me to have a greater knowledge of the health and wellness field in general. Also, I've learned to publish various professional research papers, adding to my grammatical, mathematical, and critical thinking skills.
I also have a passion for languages--besides gaining fluent knowledge of Portuguese during my LDS mission, I've also learned Spanish and am currently learning Italian at home.
During the last few years I've had several opportunities to teach and mentor people with my college internship, and leadership class work.
Teaching Style
I love how all types of people have different ways of learning. I am very good at adapting to find out how best the person learns, so its not simply a boring exercise--more of the same, if you will.
Everyone deserves a chance to learn, and learn well, no matter what their circumstance or current education level. Everyone can succeed if they have the proper attitude and teaching. As teachers and tutors, we have the responsibility of making sure we can do everything we can to ensure everybody has a great, enjoyable experience.
