With proper guidance and encouragement most students will succeed if not excel. I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students often say I can’t be a teacher because they “just get it" when I explain. Even so, my degree is in math and I've taught professionally and privately. I have a history of maintaining high scores and would rather show why something works than how to follow steps.
