Experience Summary
I taught high school English for three years. My students ranged from far below basic to advanced. My students consistently showed improvement in their standardized test scores and over 95% of my students passed the course. Also, Over 95% of my sophomore passed the CAHSEE. In addition to my high school experience, I have been tutoring adult learners for the past three years, becoming the program manager two years ago. In this roll, I administer assessments from which individual learning plans are developed for each student. I also recruit and train volunteer tutors to work with our students.
Teaching Style
I am patient yet firm. I expect students to be accountable for their own success; I want my students to become self-sufficient. With proper guidance and encouragement most students will succeed if not excel.
