I am a recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. I earned my BS in Finance through the College of Business Administration which enabled me to gain experience in different subjects such as math, economics, accounting, information systems, and marketing. I also used to tutor other, younger students when I was in high school. I am a very understanding and considerate person and my teaching style reflects that. Math has always been an achievement of mine. I went to school and started out for an engineering degree, completing all the math including hard calculus. When I got to the university level I thought a business degree would be better as it is used in all types of businesses. So on top of taking hard calc, I took business calc, accounting, finance, and economics classes which all focus on math. I have no real teaching style as I have never really taught anyone. I have always helped friends out while we were in school together and I would just have to figure out at what level of knowledge they were having a hard time understanding and start to help them understand what was going on from that point on.
