I don't use a lesson plan or guided lessons, I let the kids lead. They usually know what they need help on and if they can figure out what they are having problems with, then everything usually starts making sense. I find that children are more capable of learning in a stable environment that they are familiar with. Children respond well with well timed incentives and subtle reprimands of lost focus.
