Experience Summary
I place a high value on formal education and believe strongly in lifelong learning, for the betterment of the individual and, ultimately, for society. While raising three young children, I obtained my undergraduate degree in business administration. In later acquiring a law degree, I was introduced to the rigorous demands of such study and to the fascinating arena of reasoning and analytical thinking required by this discipline. I have tutored young children intermittenly over several years, with one stint of four years length as a Literacy Volunteer teaching English to children of war refugees.
Teaching Style
I enjoy teaching and observing my students' different learning styles. I respect each student's individual method of assimilation. I work hard to accommodate his or her particular needs. I delight in the dynamics of the classroom and strongly believe that I can make a difference in whether the student becomes engaged in the learning process.
My Hobbies
Piano, oil painting, reading (law journals, non-fiction, business periodicals), cycling, swimming.
