A Little Bit About Me...

I beleieve that every student has the ability to succeed. I view myself as a coach whereas I coach the student to success through various teaching methods. I am very positive and enjoy working with all types of students. I have found that when I first develop a trusting relationship with the individual student, then the road to success falls into place. I do not except failure. I am firm and consistent and have been told by many that they have found me to be their favorite teacher over the years.
I have taught two years here in Florida (middle school physical education) and five years in California as a middle school math teacher and reading intervention teacher. My strength is in math (algebra and prealgebra). I have extensive grammatical skills due to writing several research papers and essays. It is my pasion to "coach" students to success.

I really enjoy teaching and working with all with students in a one on one environment.. It's very fulfilling to see a student improve, but it takes practice, patience and hard work from the both the student and teacher. It's a team effort, when we both work hard, it makes it possible for the students to exceed there goals. My real world background allows me to relate to students in very different ways and provide them a background on what is being learned and it helps them remember not only the steps involved but the questions to ask to solve the problem at hand. A Little Bit About Me...

With my BS I became a Research Assistant at the University of Alabama. I went to a Teledyne company to become their Quality Assurance Manager. With my MBA, I became a plant Chemical Engineer for Pratt & Whitney, then into Marketing and Communication Engineer. Started a land development company as their President. Left P&W and went back to school to receive my Doctorate. Started a church and ran missions and development in third world countries, for the past 17 years. This also included: Televison, radio, and internet outreach. I have since then written and published two books. I taught high school in Martin County primarily for gifted students for a couple of years when the school system lacked qualified teachers.

A Little Bit About Me...

I personally have basic teaching experiences in different subjects such as Music, Maths, and Financial Accounting. I mostly teach Music for 4 years. I have my BA in accounting. I am actually working on Tax preparation, trying to deal with different type of forms and schedule.
