I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work with a minor in Race and Ethnic Relations.In addition to being a social worker I am also a published writer. I have had my work printed (hardcopy and online) by multiple magazines and anthologies. I am currently under contract for a book due out in 2012. Also in the fall of 2012 I will begin pursuing a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing. Aside from academics, I am a former volunteer for Literacy Coalition where I worked with adults and teens who wished to improve their reading and comprehension skills.
