After 23 years in this field , I returned to the classroom and obtained my professional teaching certification in Social Science. With my MBA, I became a plant Chemical Engineer for Pratt & Whitney, then into Marketing and Communication Engineer. Started a land development company as their President. Left P&W and went back to school to receive my Doctorate. Started a church and ran missions and development in third world countries, for the past 17 years. A Little Bit About Me...

I have a laid back, yet no nonsense style of teaching that I believe works with most students. I am a friendly and supportive figure, but there is no doubt that I am the one in charge in the classroom or in a tutoring situation. I like for students to learn to think inside, outside, above, and beyond the box when they are trying to learn a subject. No one way is 100% correct, and if a child cannot learn one way, then there is always another way to process the information. Not all children will love to learn, but I do try to show them that they can respect the process, and use it to their advantage.

As a trained elementary school teacher, I have experience teaching a group of 15 students at a time in a classroom. I teach subjects like English, Math and Science for students age 6 - 12 years. 5 years of teaching has given lots of subject knowledge.
I love children and believe in every students potential in achieving higher grades. I normally access their way of learning before engaging into the lesson.
