I have 27 years teaching in central Florida. I am a Berklee trained guitarist who has practical experience on the road playing Jazz pop and rock. I have experience playing all styles on both acoustic and electric guitar. I continue to keep up on all modern styles from modern acoustic to the latest metal sounds.

After graduating college, I worked as a structural engineer. As my experience grew, so did my responsibilities. I began getting younger interns in college and having to teach them theories and practices of engineering. The mathematics behind these theories involved, Algebra, Calculus, Geometry, and various other mathematics that I recently became certified in with the Florida Department of Education. About 2 years ago, a friend of mine asked me to tutor his son for the S.A.T.'s, his scores improved by about 100 points in the mathematics. Since then I have been tutoring through recommendations in College Algebra, Statistics, Pre calculus, and various other students in general mathematics.

I beleieve that every student has the ability to succeed. I view myself as a coach whereas I coach the student to success through various teaching methods. I am very positive and enjoy working with all types of students. I have found that when I first develop a trusting relationship with the individual student, then the road to success falls into place. I have taught two years here in Florida (middle school physical education) and five years in California as a middle school math teacher and reading intervention teacher.
