I have successfully acquired a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in Painting from Central Washington University. Last May in Seattle, I submitted and displayed my work at an art show. I am presently working on my next collection to show in the near future. A Little Bit About Me...

As a student in a Multiple Subject teaching credential program, I have developed my passion for teaching into the skills necessary for encouraging student success. As a part of my program, I spent 300 hours in a K/1st grade combination class. In the classroom, I had many responsibilities including: assisting the students with their work; teaching language arts, social science, science and math lessons; and working with small groups of students to improve reading skills. This year I also worked in an after-school program where I lead the kindergarten class where my duties included teaching conventional lessons in math, science, language arts, and science as well as incorporating song, games, and hands-on activities into lessons.
