My strategy to learning unknown subjects is very close to the same way children learn to walk, by immersion. Everything we learned as children was assimilated through watching, mimicking and attempting. I believe personal experience and learning are very close and in teaching I try to keep that in mind. Languages have been an essentiasl part of my life. Having spoken English and Spanish as a child, I added French after living and studying numerous years in France (French high School) and Switzerland. I added German at the University (this is my least used language) but traveled quite a bit througout South America for International work.
