Experience Summary
I have been a math tutor for the last two years, working for private tutoring companies based in Kamuela, Hawaii. My degree in Economics, and my previous work in Computer Science has enabled me to have a strong command of math concepts. My business experience also required a strong ability to communicate and have good grammatical skills. Thus I am able to tutor students in English as well as math, science and economics.
Teaching Style
I love teaching and enjoy working with children of all age groups and levels of ability. I enjoy searching for different ways to reach children and spur their academic success. It is a wonderful feeling to see a child's eyes light up when they finally understand a challenging concept and yet it is important to remain patient until that time comes. Teaching is the most fulfilling career as it allows me to make a difference in my students' lives that lasts forever.
