I hold a master's degree in language education and certification as a public school teacher in two states, New York and New Jersey. In the last three years I have taught and tutored German, English, English as a Second Language, and standardized test preparation (including SAT, ACT, GRE, and TOEFL) in a variety of settings, including a public high school, a private Saturday school for heritage speakers of German, a small music college/tutoring center, and at the large state university SUNY Stony Brook. I have two daughters, two years apart, but only one grade apart. They both do very well academically and embrace the process of learning. At home we focus more on learning and how to search for answers than on simple memorization. A Little Bit About Me...

Education in my life has been my number one motivating factor for success. Throughout my educational career I have always been organized and a group leader when it came to helping my fellow students with projects/homework/studying, etc. For many years I tutored individuals in English, Math, Social Studies/History, German, Psychology and Arts.
