Anybody can learn history. By detailing historical concepts in story format, I have the ability to explain eras of history in small concise stories. Once the format of breaking down history has been established, a base of learning is created, and then longer stories can be learned/recited. I love to see the proverbial light come on and the students eyes widen and they say "OH! I get it!" I've tutored a wide variety of students from diverse backgrounds. I try to make mathematics fun, like a puzzle to be figured out, and remove the "hard chore" stigma which is generally hard pressed into a students mind by the time I arrive. Getting the student to believe in themselves and believe mathematics isn't a daunting task it's just difficult until you learn the tricks is my goal.
