Experience Summary
I graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan, a private school, with a dual degree in Elementary Education and Special Education. I've worked in several Child Development Centers and as a nanny with all different ages. I enjoy reading and writing and have experience with editing and grammatical skills as they relate to writing. I have experience teaching six traits writing as well as a Reading Mastery program in my one year teaching 2nd grade at Sutton Public Schools.
Teaching Style
My passion is working with young children and watching them develop and grow with my help. I feel each child is unique and strategies and techniques should be individualized for each of them. I will do whatever it takes to make sure each child I work with benefits from my experience and skills. I am patient and enjoy making learning a fun experience. I think children need to discover the world around them through daily learning activities. I aim to find a way to connect with every child that I teach.
