I have tutored before, I am currently tutoring kids at my high school everyday in the subject in which they need help in. My goal in tutoring is to not only to have the child succeed in the course but to understand the concept of the course. My style of teaching is different for each child, because everyone does not learn the same way. Some people are visual learners and with them I focus on teaching them with pictures. Others are audible learners in which with these I focus on teaching with songs. My main reason for tutoring is to make learning fun!

I generally teach through visual aids and through very thorough explanations. If the student doesn't understand the first time I explain something, I will explain it in a different way and will keep explaining it in different ways until he/she fully understands what's being taught. I try my hardest to teach by explaining concepts logically and showing WHY and HOW, rather than simply saying something is what it is "just because." I have always been an honors student and am currently taking the highest levels of math (AP Calculus) and spanish (Spanish 5) at my high school.
