Having received an MA in French and Italian language and literature and recently submitting a PhD which focussed on Basque and Catalan nationalism, I was able to hone my language skills, and put them to use during many hours of fieldwork I conducted in France and Spain. The completion of graduate degrees has also allowed me to develop my writing, analytical and communication skills.
