I have 33 years experience as a high school English teacher. I particularly enjoy one-on-one teaching; I also enjoy asking students questions to draw from them the knowledge they are seeking. I have taught English at the high school level for 33 years, both in public and private school. Currently, I am an instructor for a GED class. I team taught with a special education teacher for several years and encouraged the private school where I taught to hire a special education teacher at the high school level. I like to make learning an experience. I typically try to relate certain problems or topics to the child's actual life to make it easier for them to learn. I feel as if the best way to learn is to have fun. I am an honors high school student and I have never made anything below a B in any class.
