Elementary Study Skills is one of my top subjects! I believe that children should study in the same place and time each day. This will give them a good habit that will encourage learning. I know this works because I studied this way throughout my school years.
My teaching style is using all our senses. If you can touch, taste, see, feel, and hear what you are engaged in, you will retain it for a long time.
I have taught children for over 20 years, including my own two children and grandchildren. I love teaching and working with children and their parents. I have received a number of awards in my Professional life as well as my social activities in my community. I also founded and started a business (Rainbow Consulting Services) in 2005. I used this business to promote literacy to children grades Pre-K-5th grades. I have a number of other topic I promote including health literacy, money management, summer reading camps and other helpful referrals. I believe that we all can learn and are life time learners.
