Elementary Study Skills is one of my top subjects! I believe that children should study in the same place and time each day. This will give them a good habit that will encourage learning. I know this works because I studied this way throughout my school years.

My teaching style is using all our senses. If you can touch, taste, see, feel, and hear what you are engaged in, you will retain it for a long time.
I have taught children for over 20 years, including my own two children and grandchildren. I love teaching and working with children and their parents. I worked for 12 years as a Special Education teacher in the public school system, teaching students with ADD, learning disabilities, autism, Aspergers, emotional and behavior disorders, and mild intellectual disabilities in a resource room and inclusion setting.
