I worked with a variety of ages from k-12. My most recent experience has been with students in elementary school. I worked for a semester teaching children about sustainable practices and the benefits of buying produce from local farms. While I am most comfortable with high school students, I have great communication skills and can work well with all children. I teach in the way of Scaffolding. I give the learner all the assistance they need until they no longer need it any more. I start by giving a lot of cues and help with each step. Then I slowly take the training wheels off and each time, I let them show me more and more what they can do with out the help. I hope to create leaders.
