I worked with a variety of ages from k-12. My most recent experience has been with students in elementary school. I worked for a semester teaching children about sustainable practices and the benefits of buying produce from local farms. Throughout my student career I have been an excellent test taker, especially on standardized tests. I scored a 1480/1600 on my SAT and a 164 on my LSAT. I have been taught in both group settings and individualized settings. Additionally I have also tutored in both group and individual settings. Through personal and professional experience, I have come to believe that fluency is most quickly achieved through immersion in a language (and instruction in only that language). However, accuracy can be developed and maintained more consistently when a student is able to compare his or her native tongue to the one which he or she is studying - as long as the student has a good understanding of the grammar and other basics of the native language.
