In my masters program, I studied International Policy Studies with a concentration in International Security Studies with some of these graduate courses taught in German. I like to incorporate activities and active learning techniques into my lessons. I like to engage the class to participate as a group, however I realize this style may not always work. I am used to teaching different learning styles, and I am willing to adapt to all kinds of learners. I have a total of close to 2 years experience as a TESOL instructor, tutor and teacher. I spent 2002-2003 in Poland teaching English to Polish students of all ages, adapting lesson plans to tailor to each age group, learning style and subject matter.
