My comments on tutoring Genetics : Genetics was one of my favorite classes as an undergraduate biochemistry major and is an area I am considering attending graduate school to study.

I spent the last year teaching English in China. I have experience teaching ESOL, and am experienced dealing learners of English of a second language. I studied Chinese during my stint there and am willing and able to tutor beginning students of the Chinese language who want to develop functional skills in Mandarin for career or personal development. I was an A-student during my time in college and often was the leader of study groups and offered personal tutoring to students struggling in my biblical Hebrew class. I served as a teacher's assistant for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I worked in a biochemistry lab for one summer during my undergraduate career.

Love the Feeling of Helping Others Achieve Their Goals!

Teaching style varies depending on the student, but I always strive to pique their interest in certain areas by relating it to their everyday experiences. I believe interactive learning is most efficient and enjoyable, including examples and activities.
The vast majority of my experience has been obtained throughout my time in college and my willingness to help fellow students and/or friends in a variety of studies.
