Currently in the Pinellas County School system as an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Tutor. I work with high school students in the classroom environment assisting in tutorial groups. I was given training on as how to ask students higher level order thinking questions (critical thinking) through my current Bachelor Degree program at St. Petersburg College: Secondary Mathematics in Education. I have done approximately fifty school based hours in the school systems for class work.

Once while subbing, I entered a classroom where the students had been allowed to watch Jerry Springer on TV for the last two weeks. I couldn't let this continue, but I saw how emotional the class was about the show. I encouraged them to write their own talk show and told them we would perform it the next day.
