Experience Summary
I have tutored math, business and science courses for high school students and adults for the last 20 years.
I have tutored for standardized tests (ASVAB, FCAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT, etc) for the last 15 years - saving parents many thousands of dollars in tuition fees.
I have also assisted students with homework help, time management and study skills.
Teaching Style
I use the material that the student is familiar with to enhance the students understanding of the principles and processes that are being emphasized. I bring supplemental material for the subject area and use it as needed. Primarily, the student works problems or exercises that are required in front of me. The student verbalizes the steps and thinking processes about the subject so that I can correct fundamentals and errors in logic.
