Experience Summary
Currently in the Pinellas County School system as an Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) Tutor. I work with high school students in the classroom environment assisting in tutorial groups. I was given training on as how to ask students higher level order thinking questions (critical thinking) through my current Bachelor Degree program at St. Petersburg College: Secondary Mathematics in Education. I have done approximately fifty school based hours in the school systems for class work.
Other Comments
I have a very powerful ambition to become a math educator. Tutoring is what I am taking as the first step in order to gain as much possible quality, effective, reflective experience that I can on the way to teach mathematics. I can retrieve teacher references that I work with, and other clients that I have tutored for or currently am tutoring.
