I have been a professional illustrator for over 10 years. I have a BA in History with a minor in Psychology from Penn State. During college I recieved straight A's in my History and English classes. I also have a paralegal certificate from the Academy of Medical Arts and Business, where I had a cumulative GPA of 4.0. I scored a 1370 on the GRE. I have a very hands on approach because I worked with small children. I believe children learn by doing. If they are interested, you won't have behavior issues. I spent one year as a day to day substitute teacher working all over York County in various special education classrooms. My second year was spent as a long term substitute at an alternative high school for boys where I taught all subjects. My third year I started teaching Specialized Preschool and did this for many years until I retired last year. My students had many exceptionalities. I had typical students visit my classroom every week to read to my students. I did leave Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12 one year to teach in Baltimore, Maryland.
