One Concept At A Time

My approach relies on developing the ability of the student to "store" the fundamentals of the subject (without projecting much of my own style of problem solving techniques). Algebra I is one of my top subjects! Algebra I is the foundation of any further math subject. The ability to interpret graphs, the ability to solve equations regarding a variable is a must have in order to advance into any other math subject. This is really, the foundation of math.

I think the easiest teaching style is to show students how every concept relates. How it relates to other subjects previously learned, why it relates to the real world and why should it relate to school.
I believe my experience falls directly on the amount of effort I have put into the subjects. Coming from another country ad having a lack of communication due to an absence of knowledge of the English language, I have battled my way through school. Algebra I is one of my top subjects! Algebra is my strongest subject in math, and I can help students in Algebra 1 exceptionally well. I took Algebra 1 back in 8th grade, and ever since then have been using the basic concepts taught in Algebra 1 in varying fields of math. Algebra I is one of my top subjects! I am a high school student and I've taken algebra during my first year. Although, I have not taken the class for years, math is cumulative and the building blocks start in elementary. In school, I consider math as my strongest subject.

I like to take what they know, help them understand it a little more, then apply it. I walk them through different questions they encounter and then watch them try it for themselves. If they make a mistake, I help them understand what went wrong and how to fix it. I am very hands on and I like to reward them with encouraging comments.
Although, I'm still a high school student, I've helped many students in my class with understanding what they were taught. I've been told by a lot of my friends that I should become a teacher. I love teaching, and if it had a higher salary pay, that would be my career choice. I've been helping kids with math before I realized that I was helping them.
