My comments on tutoring Algebra : Algebra I is the foundation of any further math subject. The ability to interpret graphs, the ability to solve equations regarding a variable is a must have in order to advance into any other math subject. This is really, the foundation of math.

I think the easiest teaching style is to show students how every concept relates. How it relates to other subjects previously learned, why it relates to the real world and why should it relate to school.
I believe my experience falls directly on the amount of effort I have put into the subjects. Coming from another country ad having a lack of communication due to an absence of knowledge of the English language, I have battled my way through school. I have had to put the time and effort into every subject I learned and will not hesitate to share that knowledge with any other student. My experience and abilities are demonstrated really by my efforts and quantity of knowledge of the subjects.

My comments on tutoring Algebra : Algebra is my strongest subject in math, and I can help students in Algebra 1 exceptionally well. I took Algebra 1 back in 8th grade, and ever since then have been using the basic concepts taught in Algebra 1 in varying fields of math. Algebra is also my favorite subject in math and I enjoy helping my peers in Algebra more than any other subject.

I am a recent graduate of Rosamond High School. During my time there I took math all the way up to AP Calculus. I took the AP test, and am awaiting the results. I have a refined mathematical aptitude, and strong people skills. I may haven never tutored professionally, but I have helped many of my peers understands challenging mathematical concepts. My comments on tutoring Algebra : I am a high school student and I've taken algebra during my first year. Although, I have not taken the class for years, math is cumulative and the building blocks start in elementary. In school, I consider math as my strongest subject.

I like to take what they know, help them understand it a little more, then apply it. I walk them through different questions they encounter and then watch them try it for themselves. If they make a mistake, I help them understand what went wrong and how to fix it. I am very hands on and I like to reward them with encouraging comments.
Although, I'm still a high school student, I've helped many students in my class with understanding what they were taught. I've been told by a lot of my friends that I should become a teacher. I love teaching, and if it had a higher salary pay, that would be my career choice. I've been helping kids with math before I realized that I was helping them. I love it when they understand it and their face just lights up.
