A Little Bit About Me...

I have been involved with sign language for six years now. I took two years in high school and two semesters in college. I also tutored four students for a year in the basics of sign. I am also involved with an all sign language church (no voicing), that has a number of deaf members, with which I interact weekly.
Basics of sign language with a focus on building vocabulary, sentence structure (syntax), and fluency.

I have taught American sign language (ASL)at a community college and adult school programs, and tutoring for less than 20 years. I use ASL to communicate with my husband and 3 children (Deaf, Hearing and Hard of Hearing). I am familiar of using the textbooks called ASL at Work, Basic Courses and Signing Naturally. I currently am a president of New Jersey American Sign Language Teacher Association.
