I have taught American sign language (ASL)at a community college and adult school programs, and tutoring for less than 20 years. I have been involved with the deaf community and teaching sign language for numerous years. I grew up in a family that used sign language to communicate. I began teaching in pre-school and have been teaching at the college level for 5 years. I also freelance interpret and am involved in numerous deaf clubs and advocacy groups.
